Groups
Users, devices and dashboards are always allocated to a customer, but sometimes you want to further organise these into sub-groups. In the below example, a customer named Emerald Compost has a device called "Ellenex PLS2-L" and a sub-group called "Emerald Compost Group 1", which then has a dashboard called "staging dashboard test". Users added to Emerald Compost can see the Ellenex PLS2-L device, as well as the group "Emerald Compost Group 1", and the dashboard "staging dashboard test". A user added to Emerald Compost Group 1 however, can only access the staging dashboard test.
Device Types
At time of writing the Doover supports three device types:
Docker
Docker devices are the most common Doover device type, and are used to connect to devices that are running a series of docker containers.
TTN
TTN Devices are devices which connect to The Things Network
MQTT/HTTP
MQTT/HTTP devices are devices which connect to the Doover Web server via MQTT or HTTP.
